Located on the outskirts of Barcelona, the Barcelona Japanese School is a private foundation-run institution serving ages 3 to 15. It follows the Japanese national curriculum for elementary and middle school, guiding students to learn independently, with emotional depth and resilience. Instruction emphasizes student-led, interactive learning and uses tablets to support individualized and collaborative work within a teacher-based subject structure. Middle school classes run 45 minutes with a flexible 5-minute adjustment to preserve time for language study.
