Tuition fees by year group (monthly and academic-year billing)

La Miranda invoices tuition as one annual enrolment fee (matrícula) plus monthly tuition/meal instalments. The published monthly totals (which combine tuition and, where applicable, school meals) for the 2025–26 academic year are:

- I1 (Infants): EUR 876 per month. Annual tuition charged as ten monthly instalments = EUR 8,760 (plus the matrícula).
- I2–I5 (Infants): EUR 990 per month. Annual tuition charged as ten monthly instalments = EUR 9,900 (plus the matrícula).
- PRI1–PRI6 (Primary): EUR 1,025 per month. Annual tuition charged as ten monthly instalments = EUR 10,250 (plus the matrícula).
- PAI2–PAI5 (MYP): EUR 1,155 per month. Annual tuition charged as ten monthly instalments = EUR 11,550 (plus the matrícula).
- BAC (Baccalaureate, school meals included): EUR 1,295 per month. Annual tuition charged as ten monthly instalments = EUR 12,950 (plus the matrícula).
- IB (IB Diploma, school meals included): EUR 1,700 per month. Annual tuition charged as ten monthly instalments = EUR 17,000 (plus the matrícula).

Note: the school's published billing structure is one annual enrolment fee plus ten monthly instalments for tuition and meals; the monthly figures above are the published monthly charges and the academic-year totals above are the monthly charge multiplied by ten (the school issues ten monthly instalments).

Billing schedule and payment terms

- There are a total of eleven instalments per academic year: one enrolment fee (matrícula) and ten monthly tuition/meal instalments. Payments are collected monthly in advance from September to June (receipts are due between the 1st and 5th of each month).
- Monthly payments are domiciled to a bank account (direct debit). A charge of EUR 15 is applied for each returned direct debit.
- New students pay the full enrolment fee at the time of formalising registration (this payment is non‑refundable). Returning students pay the enrolment fee in two instalments (a reservation payment in April and a second instalment in July); once charged these payments are non‑refundable.
- If a family withdraws a student, written notice of three months to the administration is required and fees remain payable during this three‑month notice period. Failure to keep payments current may lead to restriction of re‑registration, withholding of official documents and, after the second unpaid instalment, suspension of the student's enrolment.

Boarding / residential provision

- Boarding is not applicable. La Miranda operates as a day school; no boarding/residential fees are published.

Transport, host service and additional routine charges

- School bus service (monthly): Round trip EUR 262; One‑way EUR 180.
- Host service (before/after school care) (monthly): Morning & Afternoon EUR 48; Morning or Afternoon EUR 36. The optional extra “+30 min morning” is listed as EUR 58 for round‑trip users and EUR 45 for one‑way users in the published fees table.
- Additional paid items that are charged separately (and may be subject to outstanding‑balance restrictions) include official examination fees, excursions/trips, residential camps/colonies, and extracurricular activities. Families with unpaid balances cannot register for these extra paid activities until the account is settled.

Uniform, devices and other school‑supplied items

- No compulsory uniform fee is listed in the school's published fee sheet for 2025–26. The school's administrative agreement references an iPad policy that families must sign; no device purchase price or compulsory uniform cost is shown on the published fee schedule. Any costs for personal devices, recommended materials or optional school kit would be advised separately by the school.

Refund information

- The annual enrolment fee (matrícula) is non‑refundable for new entrants once paid. For continuing students the reservation and second instalments of the matrícula are non‑refundable once charged. When a student leaves, three months' written notice is required and fees remain payable for that notice period. These refund and notice rules apply to the published administrative agreements.

La Miranda International School in Sant Just Desvern, Barcelona, has 60 years of experience in education. The 11-building campus sits on over 13,500 m² of landscaped grounds. Part of Inspired Education Group, La Miranda is an IB World School offering the Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme in Spanish and English. The school also provides the Spanish National Baccalaureate with tracks in Science & Technology, Humanities & Social Sciences, and Arts, plus a Dual Diploma combining the Community Diploma with the American High School Diploma. Multilingualism is central: seven languages are offered, including English, Mandarin, Russian, with some languages integrated through short sessions.
