Community

Los Sauces Pontevedra is a bilingual private school located on the Campañó to Cabaleiro road in Pontevedra city, accessible to students from Pontevedra and the surrounding area. It has Early Education, Primary, Secondary and Bachillerato with a capacity of 600 students, plus the new Residence-Boarding facilities. The school's educational strengths include a commitment to students and families to provide comprehensive training beyond the academic plan, helping students recognize their strengths and prepare for future challenges, promoting a culture of work, language mastery and values-based education that contributes to both personal and professional development. Language is a priority: the program is bilingual in Spanish and English with native English-speaking teachers; from 4th Primary onward, students can choose French or German as a second foreign language, and Chinese is offered as an extracurricular activity. The Dublin programme allows pupils in 5th and 6th Primary, and 1st and 2nd Secondary, to spend one month of the school year at the Bray Centre (Dublin), Brook House Los Sauces, using English as the sole language for learning with native-speaking teachers. The school offers the American High School Diploma and the USA Project, which enables pupils to exchange with American students in 4th Secondary.
