Admissions Process

Schedule a visit to see our facilities and meet the staff who bring our international and humanist educational project to life. Admission to preschool is granted subject to availability for children aged two by December 31 of the current calendar year. Admission to elementary is granted for the cours préparatoire (CP) level within available places for children aged six by December 31 of the current calendar year. Admission to secondary: Students coming from the French education system are admitted on file. Students coming from other systems: At collège, students are admitted on file after a French-language interview; At lycée, students are admitted by examination. After review of the file, the selected student will be invited to take tests lasting one hour in four subjects, depending on the intended class. Online inscriptions: Inscription en ligne.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

AEFE Scholarships 2026/2027. First session a0 CC B1. Deadline for filing and sending dossiers: Thursday, January 29, 2026. The Consular Scholarship Council will review first-time applications from families newly established in the consular district and renewals. Timeline: 02/01/2026 to 29/01/2026: strict deadline to submit dossiers. Mid-April 2026: Consular Scholarship Council meeting in Madrid. Mid-June 2026: National Scholarship Commission meeting in Paris. End of June 2026: Notification of the decision to families. Get information: consult the Consulate General Madrid website (section Your service of social affairs); consult the AEFE information brochure on the AEFE site. 2. Prepare the dossier: Renewal: Form and list of supporting documents (a new dossier must be prepared each year). First-time: Form and list of documents available on the Consulate of France in Madrid site. The dossier must be properly completed and signed; otherwise it will be rejected. 3. Submit the dossier: All dossiers must be deposited or mailed to the Consulate General of France in Madrid no later than 29 January 2026 (postmark). If depositing a dossier for the first time, the officer will contact you to schedule an appointment (in person or by phone). The main conditions for applying for a scholarship: The student must be a French national. The applicant and the child must be registered on the World Register of French nationals living abroad with the Consulate (ensure your registration is active). The child must reside with at least one parent in Spain. The scholarship application and enrollment at the school are two separate formalities (check availability with the school).

Located in Murcia, Lycée Français International Murcia is a private school belonging to the Mission Laïque Française network. It offers education from age 2 to 18, aligned to the French education system while integrating Spanish language instruction. The infant program runs 2-6 years with 26 hours per week, followed by primary (6-11) with French as the core language and Spanish and English as additional languages. Secondary (11-15) focuses on French mastery and developing literary culture in French and Spanish. Bachillerato (ages 16-18) offers three modalities: Literature and Arts, Sciences, and Economics and Social Sciences. The campus spans 17,530 m², including 5,388 m² built with classrooms for primary and secondary, laboratories, a library and computer rooms. The school is the only French international school in Murcia and is accredited by the French Ministry of National Education. Extracurriculars include robotics, chess, performing arts, and a midday meal program with transport on request.
