Wellbeing

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

International, multilingual citizenship and openness to cultural and social diversity are core aims. We encourage critical thinking, reflection, and deduction through active, experiential learning, and we provide personalized support to each student. Citizenship, respect, and teamwork are central, fostering collaboration and empathy. Students are prepared to engage with other cultures (Spanish, French, English) and to participate in a global society. UNICEF-recognized education on children2s rights and global citizenship underpins this social-emotional dimension.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

English is taught as part of the multilingual curriculum across all cycles. Hours allocated per cycle vary: Cycle I includes 2 hours of English; Cycle II includes 2 hours; Cycle III includes 4 hours. In secondary, English language study remains in the language-literature block with 304 hours. Cambridge English certifications are available: B1 during secondary and B2-C1 at the baccalaureate.

Mental Wellbeing

Emotional intelligence: The wellbeing of our students is part of the school environment. We focus on their mental balance by addressing their emotional activities, for example through artistic projects that help them express their feelings. This work has a positive impact on the learning process. We run workshops on emotional intelligence. This approach supports student resilience and social-emotional development.

Safeguarding

UNICEF education and rights-based citizenship are central. The school is a UNICEF reference center for education on children2s rights and global citizenship, level 1, for 2024-2026. Code of conduct promotes civility and solidarity with colleagues and with people who are disabled or without resources. Civility initiatives include disability projects developed with the CEDES Foundation to raise awareness and inclusion. The school fosters a culture of inclusion and rights-based education.
