The seconde is a general and technological year with a common core and optional subjects. The school offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB) and the Bachibac program. The IB Diploma Programme provides a global and holistic education that develops inquiring, knowledgeable, and open-minded learners. The Bachibac program is a mixed program that represents about a third of the weekly timetable; it includes the subjects French language and literature and the history of Spain and France taught in French, enabling students to obtain both the French Baccalauréat and the Spanish Bachillerato.
Arts are one of the six subject groups in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme; different arts subjects are offered at standard and higher levels.
The vehicular language of the school is primarily French, and the school bases its educational and linguistic project on plurilingualism. Children begin learning Spanish, Catalan, and English from Petite Section, building an oral foundation before reading and writing, and later deepening study in each language. For francophone and non-francophone students, immersion in the language they know the least is progressive, and mastery of the new language is supported by acquiring skills in the other languages. Students master English, French, Spanish, and Catalan.
The school's social life includes debates and student projects, English placement testing (Ev@lang), participation in events such as the Epitech Game Jam and Plastique à la loupe, and charitable and cultural activities like Chocolatada Solidaria, Carnaval, and book exchanges.
Chocolatada Solidaria unites the school community to support Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, and the school collaborates with the Fundación Antonio Cabré for charitable initiatives.
The International Baccalaureate program includes the Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) component, through which students develop projects that showcase initiative, perseverance, problem-solving and decision-making.
The school provides an infirmary with two health professionals who care for students, administer medications, and provide minor medical attention, with health staff contacting families when needed. LIB Bon Soleil also offers a sports program for students.
