MDI International College is a small, rural international bilingual school in Valencia, Spain, serving children aged 3 to 18. Established in 1968 as Colegio Maria de Iciar, it offers Early Childhood, Primary, Secondary, and Bachillerato within a Spanish curriculum enriched by Montessori and Steiner-Waldorf influences and a Farm School approach. Instruction is delivered in English and Spanish, with native English-speaking teachers leading many activities, and Valencian included in the curriculum to reflect regional language heritage. The school emphasizes individualized attention in small class sizes and a warm, nurturing environment where emotional and social intelligence are developed alongside academics. The campus features outdoor spaces, a farm area with stables, a library, music and psychomotor facilities, science and technology labs, and a covered gym and multiple sport courts, with transport services from Valencia. The signature combination of Montessori and Waldorf-inspired practices with farm-based learning creates a distinctive educational journey beyond conventional classrooms.
