Newton College was founded in 1991 in Elche to offer a bilingual, international education blending British and Spanish curricula. In 1998, the IB Diploma Programme was introduced. Facilities were expanded in 2005 with a modern sports complex and advanced science laboratories. The school joined the International Schools Partnership (ISP) in 2012 and adopted digital learning in 2020. In 2023, Newton College earned ISP Mastering status.

Newton College is a bilingual school in Elche, Spain, offering education for ages 1 to 18. The college is part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP) and emphasizes multilingualism through English, Spanish, Valencian, German and French, supported by a Language Academy. The curriculum blends the British National Curriculum with the IPC in Primary and pairs the British framework with the IB Middle Years Programme in Secondary, while Sixth Form offers the Spanish Baccalaureate or IB Diploma Programme. The Early Years follow an internationally recognized framework. The campus spans 24,000 square metres and features six science laboratories, two ICT suites, art studios, a dynamic Innovation Centre with 3D printing, robotics and VR/AR tools, and solar-powered facilities in the Marie Curie building. Extensive sports facilities, a theatre and music suites, a library and outdoor spaces support a broad range of activities. In 2023 Newton College earned ISP Mastering status for international learners.
