Second Body Montessori Valencia is a bilingual Montessori program for children born in 2018 or older, serving ages 6 to 16. The curriculum follows Montessori principles with bilingual instruction in Spanish and English, delivered by two Montessori-trained guides (one Spanish, one English) who provide overlapping instruction across language, mathematics, geometry, biology, history and geography, with support from Common Core. Learning centers on project-based work, longer uninterrupted work periods, and going-out experiences that connect students with Valencia's cultural life and communities. The campus in Valencia features Montessori classrooms, a Hands-on Workshop, an Art Workshop, a Café/Gallery Space and a School Garden, with open learning environments and mentorship for secondary students. Specialists teach Art, Handwork, Physical Education, Music/Movement Arts and Valenciano to enrich exploration and cross-disciplinary inquiry. Students graduate ready to continue in the Spanish school system or transfer to American or international schools, with opportunities for community engagement and world projects.
