Founded in 1975, SEK-Ciudalcampo is part of SEK Education Group, an institution with more than 130 years of educational experience. The school has a history spanning over half a century. SEK-Ciudalcampo is an authorized IB World School offering all three IB programmes, a member of Round Square, and NEASC-accredited.
SEK-Ciudalcampo maintains a learning community with a range of extracurricular programs, including SEK Extracurricular Activities, White Week, and International Academic Stays. SEK International School Ciudalcampo, in Madrid, is a private, co-educational campus serving ages 0 to 18. It is an authorized IB World School offering the IB continuum — PYP, MYP and DP — and integrates the curriculum with Spain's national framework (LOMLOE). Early childhood education (4 months to 3 years) is delivered in English by native-speaking or bilingual teachers, with reading and writing in Spanish and English; primary education (6 to 12) is bilingual in English and Spanish, with a third language (French or German) introduced from year 5. Families may choose the Spanish LOMLOE Baccalaureate or the IB Diploma Programme. The campus spans more than 20,000 m² of buildings and a 10,000 m² outdoor sports complex, with Intelligent Classrooms, laboratories, an astronomy observatory and a Maker Space. SEK-Ciudalcampo is a Round Square member and NEASC-accredited, underscoring a student-centered approach, strong academics, and opportunities in sport, science and global-minded service today.
