Skandinaviska Skolan Costa Blanca is a private international school in Orihuela offering education from age 3 to 18. Established in 1999, it follows Swedish standards and teaches in Spanish and English from year 1. The preschool follows LPFÖ 18, and the curriculum serves Swedish, Norwegian, and Finnish students within a supportive, family-oriented setting. The school is approved by the Swedish Education Agency and operates across three buildings in a tranquil residential area. Class sizes are complemented by a high teacher density, underpinning a health-conscious environment with daily movement and nutritious meals prepared by a dedicated chef. Bilingual language development is a cornerstone: Swedish language lessons for children age 6+, plus regular Spanish lessons and after-school courses. The campus runs a Summer School and is active in sustainability through the Green Flag Award. Costa Blanca is recognized by the WHO as one of the world's healthiest places, reinforcing the school's emphasis on well-being overall.
