Socrates Educa International School is a boarding and day community in Spain serving learners from ages 1 to 18, with on-site residences, host-family options and sports academies. The school offers Cambridge Primary, the International Baccalaureate Diploma, the American Curriculum and the Japanese Curriculum, with progression from P1 to national and international qualifications. Robotics, programming and laboratory work are embedded in teaching, with emphasis on regular discussions, group projects and presentations. Founded as a civic, non-profit initiative, the Socrates Educa Foundation was established in 2007 and opened in 2012. The campus spans 30,000 m2 with over 8,000 m2 of facilities, including laboratories, libraries, a Forum and flexible classrooms. Sustainable features include rainwater irrigation, solar energy and wind power. Outdoor sports cover 3,100 m2, with a multipurpose hall and swimming.
