History

Established in 1956, St. George's British International School Bilbao is a private British international school. Community

St. George's Bilbao fosters an international, inclusive community through partnerships with WWF, Eco Schools, and UN Sustainable Goals that connect students to global environmental challenges. The PTA organizes events such as festivals, workshops, markets and celebrations, including a World Culture Day, to strengthen community ties.

Parent-Teacher Association

The PTA at St. George's British International School Bilbao is an association made up of parents and teaching staff who actively work together to enrich the educational experience of all students. The mission is to strengthen the relationship between families and the school by promoting the active involvement of parents in their children's learning and school life. The PTA's functions include collaboration between families, supporting initiatives, events, fundraising, communication with the school management, and promoting student well-being. It organizes events and activities that strengthen ties between families, such as festivals, workshops, markets and celebrations, and supports academic, sporting, cultural and social initiatives that complement the curriculum. It also provides a channel for concerns and suggestions from families to the school management and promotes student well-being through inclusion and emotional health programmes.
