Spanish is a compulsory subject in Key Stage Four, alongside English Language and Literature. French and German are offered as option subjects. In Upper Primary, Spanish and French are taught with regular vocabulary checks and end-of-unit tests.
Situated near Marbella on the Costa del Sol, The English International College is a British international school for ages 3 to 18. It follows the National Curriculum for England and Wales, with the Primary School (ages 3–10) taught by qualified teachers and a Secondary section (11–16) supported by specialist subject teams. The Sixth Form leads to IGCSE and A Levels, and from January 2026 a two‑year Stepping Stones program expands to Years 3 and 4 to address English development and curriculum gaps. The school provides specialist spaces for Computing, Music and Physical Education, and offers languages including Spanish, French and German from age 3. The Horizons Programme in the Sixth Form develops university‑level skills through debating, public speaking and a Horizon Diploma.
