The Global College offers an IB Diploma Programme and University Access. Winter Campus relocates the campus to Val Thorens for a week of skiing and studying, and the Entrepreneurship Challenge begins during the trip. Academic work continues asynchronously during Winter Campus, with independent and group tasks. Mentoring and career guidance support students and help them prepare for university.
Madrid's museums, theaters, and historic sites immerse students in Spain's heritage. International students are encouraged to learn Spanish and engage with local culture.
Sports include soccer, volleyball, swimming, and fitness, with facilities available through IE University. Students can join IE's teams and sports clubs. The school operates 30+ clubs led by students and teachers, including Blockchain, Coding, Debate, and Entrepreneurship.
Social service is integrated into the program through volunteer work with organizations and projects supporting the less advantaged. End-of-year trips to Cambodia and Kenya provide hands-on opportunities to contribute to community initiatives.
The school hosts guest speakers including world-class authors, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders. Entrepreneurship is emphasized through clubs and the Winter Campus Entrepreneurship Challenge. The Global College is a Madrid-based international IB Diploma Programme school for ages 15 to 18, offering a day and boarding program anchored in IE University. English is the language of instruction. The campus hosts 12 classrooms, discussion rooms, science labs in Biology and Physics & Chemistry, a radio lab, a filming studio, a library, a technology and design hub, Entrepreneurs Live Hub, coworking space, and 1000m² outdoor area to support practical, interdisciplinary learning. The IB Diploma Programme requires six subjects across Groups 1-6, with current English Language A, Spanish Language A and French Language A options and related SL/HL courses; the Diploma Core includes EE, TOK, and CAS. Boarding facilities are nearby in El Viso, with single or double rooms, common areas, garden, wifi, housekeeping, and catering. Extra-curriculars include 30+ clubs, social service trips, and a Winter Campus trip to Val Thorens with an Entrepreneurship Challenge.
