The Global College is a co-educational day and boarding IB Diploma Programme school for 15 to 18-year-olds in central Madrid, anchored in IE University. The campus is located in the El Viso neighborhood, Madrid, with a newly refurbished residence within walking distance for international students. The facilities support a pre‑university IB experience, including 12 classrooms, 5 team discussion rooms, a biology lab, a physics & chemistry lab, a radio & digital media lab, a filming studio, a library, a technology & design hub, an Entrepreneurs Live Hub, a coworking space, and generous green outdoor areas. The campus is designed for English‑taught IB learning with an interdisciplinary curriculum that combines science and humanities and emphasizes social and emotional development. Boarding facilities are nearby in El Viso, featuring independent dorms with single and double rooms, common areas, an outdoor garden, high-speed wifi, daily housekeeping, and catering.
The Global College's campus features a state‑of‑the‑art setup for learning, including Science Labs, a Filming Studio, a Radio Room, and coworking spaces. It has a Biology Lab, a Physics & Chemistry Lab, a Library, a Technology & Design Hub, an Entrepreneurs Live Hub, and an Open Coworking Space to support project work and collaboration. The El Viso campus also provides an outdoor area with green spaces (1000m²) to support outdoor learning and wellbeing. The facilities are laid out to support an English‑taught IB Diploma Programme with a balanced emphasis on STEM and humanities, and to facilitate hands‑on, interdisciplinary learning in a modern setting.
Beyond the classroom, the college runs a Winter Campus trip to Val Thorens for skiing and integrated academic work, with all accommodation and ski instruction costs covered by the school. Social service is an integral part of the program, including end‑of‑year trips to Cambodia and Kenya to support community projects. Regular activities include sports (soccer, volleyball, swimming) and more than 30 student‑ and teacher‑led clubs (e.g., Blockchain, Coding, Debate, Entrepreneurship). The school also hosts guest speakers from authors, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders, and arranges university presentations with over 60 top universities visiting to connect with students.
