English is the language of instruction. Spanish is a First Language for native Spanish speakers and a Foreign Language for others; French is offered as a Foreign Language. In Years 7–9, Spanish Social Science is taught in English; in Years 10–11, Spanish Social Science is taught in Spanish for Spanish-national students; French and Spanish are offered as Foreign Languages to develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
The language of instruction is English and Spanish is taught as a second language. The school uses native English-speaking teachers for immersion in English; four full-time native Spanish teachers teach Spanish as a second language with up to five classes per week. Foundation ages are 3–5; Primary ages are 5–11; Secondary ages are 11–16; Sixth Form ages are 16+. The school identifies bilingual English–Spanish development as a key aim.

Wingate School is an independent, English-speaking campus in Cabo Blanco, Arona, Tenerife, Spain, educating 3-18 year olds within the British National Curriculum. The school delivers IGCSEs in English, English Literature, Mathematics, Spanish and Biology, with electives such as Geography, History, Physics, Chemistry, French and IT, and offers three International Advanced Level qualifications and additional options like the Pearson Extended Project Qualification. Instruction is in English for a diverse international intake, many of whom are non-native speakers.
