English, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, and French are taught. Mandarin Chinese is introduced from age two and continues through Primary and compulsory Secondary Education. From Secondary onward, students may choose to continue with Chinese or switch to French, and DELF-DALF certificates are available for French. The school is authorized by the Confucius Institute as an Examination Centre for YCT and HSK exams.
Bilingualism is the main characteristic of Yago School Málaga's curriculum. English is the main language, with 70% of daily classes conducted in English and 30% in Spanish, with Mathematics and Spanish Language as exceptions. Curricular Chinese is taught as a second language from Nursery to Primary 6. English is the language used in hallways, recess, gardens, dining room, and assemblies.
Language immersion is supported through exchange and study-abroad programs. Primary students can participate in an exchange with Riddlesworth Hall School in southern England. Secondary students undertake study-abroad and exchange experiences in Ireland, the USA, and Canada. The International Experiences Coordinator arranges these opportunities and internal exchanges, including a two-week cultural exchange with the Newman School in Boston, USA.
Yago School Málaga is a private international day and boarding school for ages 3 to 18 in Málaga, Spain. It offers the International Baccalaureate across the continuum: PYP in Early Years and Primary, MYP in Secondary, and DP in Diploma years. It is a candidate for MYP and DP, pursuing IB World School authorisation. The school provides bilingual instruction in English and Spanish and offers examination options in English, Chinese, Spanish and French. From Secondary onwards, students use iPads and MacBook Air, and on-site Boarding Home for Secondary to Baccalaureate students. The campus blends modern academic spaces with social and sports facilities, including a Concert Hall, music studios, art rooms, science labs, a library and a dining hall. Educational project emphasises values and holistic development, supported by wellbeing and anti-bullying initiatives and a house system. The Yago Foundation coordinates charitable activities, reinforcing a culture of service in the school community.
