Yago School Málaga originated in Dublin in 1979 with an English-speaking environment to deliver the Spanish curriculum and foster bilingualism. In the 1990s, the recession led to the closure of the original schools, but thousands of students who studied there carry the Yago brand, and staff who began there later formed the teaching and managerial team of the Seville project. Yago School's principles are anchored in six educational pillars: traditional values, music and art, science and technology, languages, sports, and an outstanding curriculum, all designed to provide a solid foundation for students' personal and professional lives. The Yago Foundation, a non-profit entity established in 2011 by the Yago School team, supports solidarity work and charitable activities across the school community.
