Facilities Overview

Lund International School is an International Baccalaureate World School, authorized in May 2009. It offers the Primary Years Programme and Middle Years Programme for students aged 3 to 16, and includes an international daycare where children from age 2 can start. The school has small class sizes and a structured, welcoming atmosphere. Healthy lunches are freshly prepared on-site in the school kitchen. It is located close to the city centre of Lund and is easily accessible by bus; within Lund Municipality there is no school fee for PYP and MYP.

Extra-Curricular Activities

After School Programme at LIS is called Fritids, meaning Leisure time in Swedish. It provides a safe environment where students develop social, language and communication skills and build self-confidence and independent thinking. The program offers a variety of activities and emphasizes democratic values, equal rights and mutual respect. Fritids runs daily from 14:30 to 16:00, with snacks provided, and the school closes at 17:30. Holiday Fritids is available during school breaks, with registration via Google Form.
