Activities billed on a flat‑rate basis are not refundable for absence except on presentation of a medical certificate.
- Cambridge exam fees and other external examination fees are not included in tuition and are charged separately.

Discounts and special cases

- A 20% discount on school fees is applied to the second and third children in the same family for private (unsponsored) families.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- The registration deposit (CHF 1,000) must be paid within the stated reservation period to guarantee the place; the registration form makes the place conditional on payment of that deposit. The deposit is required before the pupil's arrival.
- Tuition and administrative fees must be paid before the start of the courses or the relevant term; otherwise late charges and interest at 1% per month are applied. If tuition for a full year is paid in advance, a 1% discount is applied. Monthly payment plans are available; if spread over 10 months an administrative charge of CHF 10 per month is applied. Meals, material fees and camp charges are invoiced simultaneously with the school fees; regular and incidental activities are invoiced termly and must be paid at the end of each term. All invoicing and payment instructions require payments in Swiss francs.

Accepted payment methods and billing details

- Payments are required in Swiss francs. Bank transfer (the school provides Banque Cantonale Vaudoise account details and IBAN on the registration documents) is the specified payment method; parents are responsible for any bank charges. The registration form allows specification of the payer (parents, a third party or an expatriate employer). No credit‑card payment method is specified in the registration documents.

Boarding / Accommodation

- The school operates as a day school with a full‑day programme (hours indicated for the school day) and after‑school activities; no boarding fees or boarding provision is listed.

Refunds and resignation rules

- Deposit: the CHF 1,000 deposit is normally held as a guarantee and will be retained by the school in the event of cancellation or withdrawal after the deadlines described in the registration contract. The deposit is not returned if the pupil leaves before the end of the school year in which he/she started. The deposit may be retained to cover outstanding fees or damages; unclaimed deposits remaining a year after departure may be used for the school scholarship fund.

If resignation is received after the relevant deadline, the school invoices the fee for the following term as specified in the contract.
- Activities and passes: the yearly pass for after‑school workshops is payable in advance and not refundable; flat‑rate activities are not refunded for absence except on presentation of a medical certificate. Exam registration fees and external examination fees are not refundable.

Notes on invoicing practice

- Administrative and material fees are due for the full year even if a pupil attends only part of the year; fixed fees are not prorated in short‑term admissions. Activity fees are invoiced termly and must be paid at the end of each term. The school reserves the right to modify tariffs annually.

École Bilingue de Suisse Romande is a private bilingual school in Lausanne serving children aged 3 to 15. It offers a programme drawing on French, British, Cambridge IGCSE, Singapore and Swiss curricula, with English-French bilingual immersion from early years. The youngest learners follow a 50/50 language split, with two years of English immersion for francophone pupils and a transition year; from Year 3, French elements are introduced and the programme becomes fully bilingual with native speakers in both languages. In primary, subjects are taught by specialists; the English component aligns with British standards while maths follows the Singapore Programme and geometry follows a French programme. The path continues through Collège with Gymnase entrance. The school occupies an Art Deco building (1913) shared with Lemania's IB section and has a science laboratory and a craft workshop.
