Parent Experience

Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

The MOSER School was founded in 1961 by Henri Moser, with the opening of a private French school for children of foreign parents in Geneva. Since then, the innovative spirit of the family business has supported a child-centred pedagogy and developments in academic, digital and social skills. Ecole Moser Nyon offers a global pathway over 6, 10 or 14 years, from primary school (from 1P) or Secondary I (9th grade) to the Swiss maturité (with bilingual German, English or no mention) or to the double diploma: Swiss maturité + International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). As of the 2024-2025 academic year, Ecole Moser educates 450 students. The campus is located at Allée des Moulins 16, 1274 Grens.

Les Cabris, the Alpine Pedagogical Center in Leysin, welcomes school camps year-round—from sports to environmental projects or CAS projects—and serves about 700 students from Geneva and Nyon; facilities include a multi-purpose room with a mountain view and spaces for conferences and training seminars; in 2022, Les Cabris won the 2nd Prize for construction in French-speaking Switzerland. The training paths cover from 1P to maturity plus IBDP.
