An on-campus animal shelter is run by students and houses ponies, rabbits, chickens and goats. The campus is at the top of a peaceful village with mountain views and is near Lake Lucerne, enabling hiking, rowing and mountain biking, as well as skiing and skating. International School Altdorf is a private international boarding and day school for students aged 13 to 18, set on a hillside campus with mountain views.
