Leysin American School in Switzerland is a private, co-educational boarding school for students aged 12 to 18 with a United States affiliation. LAS offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme alongside AP, an American Curriculum, and a Bespoke option. The IB comprises six subject groups—Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Mathematics, and The Arts—with a core of Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay, and Creativity, Activity, Service. University advising begins in grade 9 to tailor an IB plan to university goals. The campus has six dormitories with live-in dorm parents, a 1:4 faculty-to-student ratio, and 95% of staff living on site. Sports facilities include the Magic Mountain Athletic Center and Upper and Lower Sporting Centers, plus winter skiing on Leysin's slopes with access to about 90 resorts via the Magic Pass.
