School of Tomorrow operates across three campuses in Zurich and Uster: Schloss Sihlberg ZH Enge, Augustinerhof - ZH City, and Gerichtsplatz - Uster. The school offers Kindergarten, Primary, and Secondary/Gymnasium. The school day runs from 8 am to 6 pm with Fridays optional for Kindergarten and Primary; from Secondary onwards, the last day of the week is Entrepreneur Friday. Lunch is provided daily and is warm, fresh, regional, and varied, with meat/fish or vegetarian options; snacks are provided as well and meals are included in school fees. The school is bilingual in German and English, with about half the team German-speaking and the other half English-speaking, enabling daily language immersion. The school follows the Swiss Lehrplan 21 and includes a comprehensive English curriculum.
The Curriculum combines Lehrplan 21 with a strong English-language component, and emphasizes creativity, the arts, and sports. Lehrplan 21 is used for cycles 1–3 (kindergarten, primary, and secondary), with English taught to a level equivalent to a second mother tongue. From secondary, students can choose between Swiss Matura or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IB Diploma, available from summer 2028). Mindset and personal development are integrated into learning and promoted in a targeted, ongoing manner, alongside a focus on technology and digital literacy. Technology & Digital Literacy covers coding and robotics and emphasizes responsible use of screens. The school aims to blend local Swiss education with international elements through its bilingual and international-oriented program.
Creativity, the arts, and sports are given great emphasis within the curriculum, and arts and sports are integrated into project-based and interdisciplinary learning, supporting both local Swiss and international objectives. The program combines these areas with a strong English-language component to foster broad-based learning experiences across subjects and cultures.
School of Tomorrow - Schloss Sihlberg is a bilingual day school located in a 19th-century castle in Zurich’s Enge district. The school follows the Swiss Lehrplan 21 while integrating a comprehensive English-language program, preparing students for both local and international pathways, including the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Learning is organized into mixed-age groups rather than traditional grade-level classrooms, utilizing "Homebases" and specialized "micro-environments" for project-based work. The campus features dedicated spaces for digital literacy where primary students use personal iPads for research and coding. A distinctive feature of the school is its "Entrepreneur Friday" for older students and the "Friday Club" for younger ones, which shifts the focus from standard academics to practical projects and community activities. Instruction is delivered simultaneously by English and German-speaking educators in the same room, ensuring constant immersion.
