Scholarships are available to local and international students who might not be able to afford a VIS education. VIS currently supports five scholarship students. Scholarships fund tuition and related expenses and may be funded by a general scholarship fund or sponsor-specific arrangements; donors can support an individual student or a specific program, such as the IB DP. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academic merit and a commitment to the VIS Guiding Principles, with recipients expected to have a strong academic record, extracurricular involvement, and personal growth. The Scholarship Process is managed by a Scholarship Committee and is open to applicants entering Year 10 (US Grade 9) or Year 12 (US Grade 11); the selection is integrated with the VIS admissions procedure, and scholarships remain with students until graduation subject to annual achievement reviews. The application form and deadlines are provided by VIS, including details such as a December 31, 2025 deadline for applications and notes about financial information in later stages. Verbier International School (VIS) is a private day and boarding school in Verbier, a sunlit Alpine village in the Valais region. The 2025 merger with Copperfield International School created Les Trois Cimes, a campus beside a Sports Centre that anchors year-round learning. VIS offers year-round boarding with flexible arrangements and seasonal camps, alongside Winter Term programmes. The Primary School delivers English-language learning rooted in the English National Curriculum, while the Secondary School follows the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) with project-based inquiry and skill development. Students progress to the IB Diploma Programme or a High School Diploma, with personalised guidance. Forest School and outdoor education are woven through the programme, and skiing is integral from Preschool to Year 11, with advanced options in later years. The school participates in the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and connects families to a wider Dukes Education network, extending opportunities across its global community.
