Model United Nations provides students with opportunities to investigate contemporary real-world problems discussed at the United Nations and to participate in conferences in Bangkok and beyond. The program helps students develop leadership, critical thinking, public speaking and teamwork. Global Issues Network enables students to lead projects addressing global issues, including composting, measuring food wastage, changes to plastic use, and responses to international emergencies by raising aid. Garden International School Rayong is a FOBISIA School, offering a platform to participate in academic, sporting and creative events such as debates and mathematics competitions.
The Arts at Garden provides rich and diverse opportunities in the arts. Annual events include primary and secondary productions, a Christmas Fair and Concert, Big Art Activities, and International Day. IB Visual Art and Design Exhibitions, Exhibition Gala and Senior Recital, LAMDA examinations and MAD Night are also part of the program.
FOBISIA membership provides opportunities for intercultural collaboration and events such as debates, music festivals and mathematics competitions. Model United Nations fosters international understanding and cross-cultural engagement. International Day is celebrated as part of Garden's arts program.
The Garden House System groups students into Gecko, Eagle, Cobra and Tiger to foster belonging and healthy competition. The house calendar includes House MAD, sports tournaments, quizzes, talent shows and beach cleanups. A House system is led by elected Captains and supported by a Senior Student Leader and staff from both Primary and Secondary.
Global Issues Network enables students to lead community and sustainability initiatives. Projects include composting, measuring food wastage, reducing plastic usage, and raising aid in response to international emergencies.
Student Leadership provides formal roles where students act as liaisons between staff and students, promote positive growth and drive school-wide change. Current roles include IB Core, House, Global Citizenship, Student Voice, Library, Communications and Wellbeing. The Ror Dor Programme offers Reserve Officer Training Corps for male students aged 15 and above, with weekend training and leadership development. Completing all three years can lead to exemption from military conscription.
The Sports program offers a varied range of activities from Early Years through IB, with Primary students participating in Football, Swimming, Basketball, Athletics and T‑Ball, and Secondary students in Football, Basketball, Swimming, Badminton, Volleyball, Netball, Athletics and Rounders; teams compete regionally, including FOBISIA Games, with over 50% of students participating in clubs. Garden also offers a two-week Summer Camp with sports, arts, crafts and science activities for FS2 to Year 6.
Garden International School, Rayong is a co-educational British international school located in Ban Chang, Thailand, serving students aged 2 to 18. Established in 1994, the school delivers the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), British National Curriculum, Cambridge IGCSE, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
