MYIS International School follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, starting with the Primary Years Programme (PYP) from Early Years through Grade 5, and the Middle Years Programme (MYP) from Grades 6 to 10. Learning is organized around real-world themes that connect subjects like math, science, language, and social studies. Students work on projects, ask questions, and learn how to think critically and solve problems, rather than just memorize facts.
English is the main language of instruction, and all students also study Thai. Mandarin is introduced in middle school. The curriculum includes physical education, arts, music, and technology at all levels. The school also incorporates outdoor learning, with activities tied to its on-campus garden and farm.
Magic Years International School (MYIS), founded in 1990, is located in Nonthaburi near Bangkok. It offers the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP) for students aged 1 to 16, with plans to add the Diploma Programme by 2027. The school keeps class sizes small and focuses on inquiry-based learning across subjects. The campus includes indoor-outdoor classrooms, a saltwater pool, gym, STEM and art labs, a music room, and a small farm with animals and gardens. Students also take part in Thai language, music, and a range of after-school clubs such as cooking, soccer, and yoga.
