The school currently offers both part-time and full-time boarding for students in grades PYP 4 and above. Housing is 'family style' with up to six students per house, located about five minutes away from the school. Each home has a house parent who cares for the student, ensuring social-emotional needs are met, providing academic support with homework and projects, and teaching self-care and life skills.
The school requires uniforms Monday through Thursday; Friday is a casual day. The uniform must be worn during regular school hours, including extracurricular activities, and students should present themselves in a neat and tidy manner. Changes to the uniform policy require prior approval from the school administration.
The school uses a house-based boarding arrangement with houses housing up to six students each, and a house parent for each home to provide social-emotional support, academic assistance with homework and projects, and life-skills guidance.
The school is governed by a Board of Governors led by Chairperson & CEO Ms. Chutima Sutthiprapha, who founded the school. Mr. Jesper Seistrup serves as Investor/Director on the Board and is owner and CEO of Borring Plast in Denmark.
Silver Fern International School (SFIS) in Roi Et, Thailand, is an IB World School offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for ages 3–11 and a candidate for the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for ages 11–16. The school also provide daycare for children aged 1–3.
