Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

1. Initial Enquiry
Parents can begin by contacting the school’s admissions team or visiting the campus for a tour. This step allows families to learn about the school’s programmes, facilities, and community before starting the formal process.

2. Application Submission
Parents complete the official application form and submit it with supporting documents, such as copies of the student’s birth certificate or passport, academic records, and any relevant medical or learning support documentation. An application fee of THB 10,000 (non-refundable) is payable at this stage.

3. Assessment and Interview
The school arranges an age-appropriate academic assessment to evaluate the student’s readiness and English proficiency. An interview may also be conducted with the student and parents to discuss learning needs and ensure alignment with school expectations.

4. Offer of Place
If the application is successful, the school issues a formal offer letter. To secure the place, parents must pay the registration fee (THB 50,000, non-refundable) and refundable deposit (THB 30,000), along with the first term’s tuition and any other applicable fees.

5. Enrolment and Orientation
Once fees are paid, the student is officially enrolled. Families receive information on start dates, uniform requirements, and orientation activities to support the student’s transition into school life.

Waitlist

The school does not publicly state that it operates a waitlist or pool system.

These scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, special talents, or other achievements, and may cover a portion of tuition fees. Udon Thani International School (UDIS), founded in 2013 and welcoming its first students in August 2014, offers education for children aged 2 to 18. Located about 10 minutes north of Udon Thani city centre on Mittrapab Road 7, UDIS blends the National Curriculum of England with the International Baccalaureate PYP, MYP, and DP programmes. Class sizes are intentionally small, supporting personalised learning. Instruction is primarily in English, with Thai language taught in-school (and extra classes offered) to support both Thai and international students. The campus emphasises STEM learning, outdoor education through environmental design, and a Community Partnership Programme that embeds service and sustainability into school life.
