Students wear a school uniform and must dress neatly in it, with approved jewellery (plain ear studs, watch, Medic Alert bracelet), regulation hair accessories, and a sun hat when outside. Regulation sports gear is required for all PE lessons and sporting activities, and deviations from the uniform must be communicated by parents to the school.
The school provides onsite catering for breaks and lunches. Primary and middle years have buffet-style lunches, while early years have a separate daily lunch. Fresh fruits, snacks, milk and drinks are available, with dietary accommodations possible on request.
The school is governed by a board comprising members from the parent company, Udon International Education Partnership, educational representatives from the Ministry of Education, and local business and educational community members. The board operates under a Charter that governs appointments, powers and duties, and procedures.
Udon Thani International School (UDIS), founded in 2013 and welcoming its first students in August 2014, offers education for children aged 2 to 18. Located about 10 minutes north of Udon Thani city centre on Mittrapab Road 7, UDIS blends the National Curriculum of England with the International Baccalaureate PYP, MYP, and DP programmes. Class sizes are intentionally small, supporting personalised learning. Instruction is primarily in English, with Thai language taught in-school (and extra classes offered) to support both Thai and international students. The campus emphasises STEM learning, outdoor education through environmental design, and a Community Partnership Programme that embeds service and sustainability into school life.
