Wells International School – Chonburi Campus opened in 2022 and serves Nursery through Grade 9. The campus is located at 88/8 Moo 2, Ban Bueng, Chonburi 20170 and is led by Head of Campus Sunée Steyn. It embraces American school culture and Thai cultural sustainability in collaboration with Villa Forest, guided by the baan-wat-rong rien philosophy that supports holistic learning in a natural environment with an agricultural center. The campus is described as offering International Standard Facilities. It has 134 students, 15 classes (Nursery–Grade 9), 15 professional teachers, and about 5 events every month.
Wells International School participates in interschool sports through the Thailand International Schools Activity Conference (TISAC) and has applied to join the Bangkok International Schools Athletic Conference (BISAC). The Wells official sports teams are known as the Wells Seahawks, and the school has accumulated over two dozen championships in TISAC. The program includes participation in interschool chess tournaments and other activities. These activities reflect the school's ongoing engagement with competitive and team-based athletics across campuses.
The Wells system uses an American-based curriculum with AP and IB programs. On-site AP courses include AP Biology, AP Pre-Calculus and Trigonometry, AP Calculus, AP World History, AP English Language and Composition, AP Computer Science Principles, AP Statistics, AP Environmental Science, AP Physics, AP Microeconomics, AP Seminar and AP Research, with some AP courses available online through Apex or the University of Nebraska High School. The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is offered for Grade 11 and above, with the option to pursue IB Certificates instead of the full Diploma, and all IB Higher Level courses are weighted in GPA calculations. The schedule uses a modified block format with four 85‑minute courses per day on Tuesdays to Fridays and eight 45‑minute periods on Mondays. Wells is licensed by the Thai Ministry of Education and accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and it is a member of the International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT) and the East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS).
The Wells system offers a broad range of extra-curricular activities, including academic, sports and arts programs, and opportunities for community service. Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) is a core component of the IB Diploma Programme and a Wells graduation requirement, guiding students to engage with local communities and global initiatives. Students participate in service clubs and projects in collaboration with local NGOs and partners to address Sustainable Development Goals. The program also includes participation in national and international competitions in academics, arts and debate, such as the World Scholar's Cup and various tournaments organized through Wells' networks.
Wells International School’s Chonburi Campus opened in August 2022 as Wells’ fifth campus in Thailand, serving students aged 2 to about 14 (nursery through Grade 8) and expanding gradually to Grade 12 by August 2024. Set on an agricultural site in Ban Bueng, Chonburi Province, the school blends a modified American curriculum with AP and IB Diploma options at upper levels and integrates Thai sustainability values through hands‑on farm learning and the “baan‑wat‑rong rien” lifestyle philosophy. Class sizes are capped around 25; current enrolment is about 150 and growing. Students are taught in English by native‑English teachers and the campus provides a bus service for local families.
