The school features a richly equipped teaching block, a high-standard sports complex, and welcoming boarding facilities. The entire campus is designed for the well-being and safety of students. The school is IB-accredited and offers an innovative international curriculum. Integrated services include on-site boarding for the southern Tunisian community, school transport serving the island and Zarzis, a canteen with varied and balanced menus, and reinforced hygiene.
All students have access to high-end sports facilities. The football field and the Olympic track are on site. The covered indoor multi-sport hall hosts basketball, volleyball and handball programs. A covered swimming pool is planned.
The Centre de Documentation et d'Information (CDI) was inaugurated in September 2020. The CDI includes a 200 m2 library, research rooms, reading corners, a sanitary block, and two administrative offices. It provides printed and digital resources to support the Early Childhood, Primary, Middle Years, and Diploma programmes, and houses more than 6,000 titles for learners and teachers. The resources cover all languages taught at the school. The librarian coordinates with teachers to align collections with programmes and student interests, and the CDI also serves as a cultural venue hosting art exhibitions, concerts and conferences.
Clubs enable students to develop their talents in sports, arts and culture, supporting their personal and academic growth. They foster a sense of belonging and help students build relationships across grade levels. Examples of active clubs include a sports club with handball, football, table tennis and gymnastics; a Computer Club; an Arts and Crafts Club; an English-language Cinema Club; and a Theatre Club. These activities complement classroom learning and broaden skills beyond academics.
Located in Bousmayel Ajim on the island of Djerba, Groupe Scolaire International Les Nouvelles Générations is the first large international school in southern Tunisia. The 35‑hectare campus sits among olive groves and palm trees and hosts an IB continuum from Primary Years Programme to Diploma Programme, authorized by the Tunisian Ministry of Education for Primary, Collège and Lycée levels. The school serves ages 5 to 18 in day and boarding settings, including a 120‑bed on‑site boarding facility and transport services for the island and Zarzis. Facilities include a well‑equipped teaching block, a high‑standard sports complex, a 200 m2 Centre de Documentation et d'Information (CDI) with more than 6,000 titles, laboratories, a dining hall, and cultural spaces. French is the language of instruction, with German, English, Arabic, Spanish and French taught. The campus emphasizes multilingualism, community engagement, and IB pathways, supported by about 100 staff. It offers clubs in sports, arts, cinema and coding, along with university guidance and access to international university networks.
