Kindergarten: breakfast at 09:00, lunch at 12:00, and an afternoon fruit snack at 15:00. German language acquisition continues within the daily routine. Primary, middle, and high school: breakfast is an open buffet and lunch is served, with a daily fruit hour to end the day. Meals are prepared daily in the school kitchen in accordance with school nutrition regulations. For high school students who do not use the dining hall, the canteen offers sandwiches, cookies or a daily-changing lunch menu. Meals are served by Sardunya.
The school is governed by the German High School Culture and Education Foundation. The Board of Trustees comprises 103 members, including 72 founding members.
ALKEV Private Schools, located in Büyükçekmece, Turkey, operate as coeducational day schools offering IB Diploma Programme, Chinese National Curriculum, and a bespoke curriculum. The school uses German and English as languages in line with CEFR standards and enriches learning with experiences and holistic content. The Early Childhood Education Program (approved by Turkish Ministry in February 2024) follows a child-centered approach with GEMS, Orff method, forest pedagogy, and Montessori system, preparing children for the next level of education and fostering cultural awareness.
