The school emphasizes learning by performing in science and provides science laboratories for primary and middle school. Physics, chemistry and biology laboratories were opened in the 2013-2014 academic year, with three new physics, chemistry and biology laboratories added in the 2020-2021 academic year. Students conduct individual and group experiments and develop scientific literacy in well-equipped laboratories, and iMac and PC laboratories support learning across subjects.
The school runs 10 workshops, including Ceramic, Music, Theater, Visual Arts, and Film Studio, plus several Technical and Wood workshops, all equipped with necessary facilities. These workshops enable students to explore creative disciplines and develop practical skills. The school also hosts TEDx Youth events with student volunteers and performances, expanding opportunities for creative expression.
World Citizens Club and Model United Nations are active at ALKEV. A Debate Event was organized by the Global Explorers Club in 2026, and the World Citizens Club Campaign and MUN Club achievements in 2026 show ongoing international-cultural programming. The programs include German-language and debate-themed activities as part of its international culture initiatives.
The club program is designed to expose students' potential within age-appropriate interests and to enrich their experience in the framework of multiple intelligences. Club activities run in line with the annual academic year calendar, offering a variety of informal and interest-based opportunities.
The PTA fosters integration between school and families, ensures communication and cooperation between parents and the school, supports educational development activities, and involves parents in school administration and teacher collaboration.
ALKEV hosts TEDx Youth events, providing leadership and professional development opportunities. Students volunteer as organizers and participants, contributing to the planning and execution of the conferences.
The school provides extensive sports facilities, including a large indoor gym, a small indoor gym, two outdoor pitches, a soccer field, two outdoor basketball courts, two outdoor volleyball courts, a multi-purpose hall, and a dance and performing arts studio, totaling 1250 square meters of sports facilities.
ALKEV Private Schools, located in Büyükçekmece, Turkey, operate as coeducational day schools offering IB Diploma Programme, Chinese National Curriculum, and a bespoke curriculum.
