Paradigm Pioneers Group began the Ajman American Private School project in 2018. The school operates as a private K–12 institution in Ajman, in partnership with Paradigm Pioneers Group, and is partially owned by His Highness Sheikh Sultan Saqer Al Nuaimi. AAPS is NEASC-accredited, and it is described as the first NEASC-accredited school in Ajman and the Northern Emirates. The school holds ISO 9001:2015 certification and aligns with the UAE National Agenda, using benchmarks such as MAP, CAT4, TIMSS, and PIRLS to monitor student progress. In 2025 NEASC recorded an initial accreditation, with the last visit in 2025.
The Ajman American Private School supports a vibrant, multicultural community with students and staff from many nationalities. The school calendar includes events such as Orientation Day for Parents and Students, Prophet Muhammad's Birthday, UAE National Day, and other Emirati cultural observances. Co-curricular programs are emphasized to build confidence, teamwork, and leadership. Parental involvement is promoted through engagement activities and communications.
The school maintains a Parent Council that coordinates family involvement in campus life. The Parent Council organizes events and activities to engage families in the school community. Parents participate in campus life through the Parent Council and its programs. Monthly coffee mornings are part of the PTA activities.
