Under the auspices of Al Arabia for Educational Development, Al Ittihad Private School (IPSMamzar) was founded in 1975 by UAE nationals. It is the founding branch of IPSMamzar, a four-school network. IPSMamzar offers an American Curriculum and emphasizes Emirati heritage, with Islamic values informing the curriculum and campus life. The campus is divided into four divisions—Kindergarten, Elementary, Boys (Grades 5–12), and Girls (Grades 5–12)—with gender segregation from Grade 5, and IPSMamzar has held NEASC and CIS accreditation since 2013.
Islamic values inform the curriculum, and the school fosters an international, multicultural environment that respects Emirati heritage. The school emphasizes close partnership with parents and the community to prepare students to assume leadership roles and serve their country as responsible citizens. The Community Service Team organized a textbook donation drive to Liberia for schooling needs in 2014-2015 to support education in another country.
