American Academy for Girls is an American Accredited All-Girls School serving Pre-KG through Grade 12 in Dubai. The High School offers a rigorous American college-preparatory curriculum with core subjects in English, Social Studies, Mathematics and Science, and options to earn credits in Information and Communication Technology, Physical Education, Foreign Language/Arabic, Fine Arts and electives. Ninth and tenth grades include pre-AP coursework, and eleventh and twelfth grades offer AP courses. Graduation requires 28.5 credits across required areas (English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Arabic/World Languages, Arts, ICT, PE and Islamic Studies), with language and other requirements outlined for upper grades; the program emphasizes university acceptance and includes summer coursework.
Arts education is integrated into the curriculum, with Art and Music offered in elementary and middle years and Fine Arts available as a credit in high school.
