Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is provided through the Inclusion Department, which offers Social and Emotional Counselling focused on students' development, social skills, and overall wellbeing; the program includes individual and small‑group counselling, and a University Counselor supports goal setting and university planning (Ms Risti Meyer).
Special Educational Needs (SEN) support is delivered by the Inclusion Department for Students of Determination (SoD), English Language Learners (ELL), Gifted and Talented (GAT), and Arabic/Islamic Learning Support, with a structured identification process and graduated response, and external intervention services may be arranged and funded by parents.
EAL support is provided by the Inclusion Department with structured language development and small‑group interventions to help students access the curriculum, covering English as an Additional Language (EAL) needs and English Language Learner (ELL) support.
Mental wellbeing is supported through Social and Emotional Counselling within the school, which focuses on the social and emotional aspects of learning and promotes student wellbeing across grade levels.
Safeguarding follows Taaleem's Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy, with designated safeguarding leads, training requirements, clear reporting procedures, and governance to protect children; the policy defines safeguarding and outlines staff responsibilities and procedures for reporting concerns.
