ASCS Nad Al Sheba is located in Nad Al Sheba 2, Dubai. The school delivers the US California Common Core Curriculum along with the Next Generation Science Standards. Qur'an Enrichment Program enhances the American Islamic Studies curriculum and focuses on proper recitation and memorization. The school has 55+ nationalities represented and offers 7+ sporting facilities along with more than 20 diverse activities.
Playgrounds are available both indoors and outdoors with specialized safe flooring for different games. The swimming pool is large, covered, and heated in cooler months so lessons can continue year-round. The Multi-Purpose Hall supports sports, events, and exams.
Classrooms are designed for movement and provide immediate outdoor access to an engineered garden, and are equipped with computers and Interactive White Boards, including a Smart Board, Smart Projector, and Activ Table. Libraries are well resourced with a wide range of books and organized layouts. ICT rooms support digital learning with dedicated computer labs and the latest technology, including Smart Board capabilities. The campus has two general science labs plus specialized Biology, Chemistry, and Physics labs. There are pull-out intervention spaces, English Language Learner (ELL) support, and 1:1 or small group counselling available.
Extra-curricular activities are delivered alongside the curriculum, including field trips, sports competitions, and cultural days. Clubs offered include Drama, Eco, Cooking, Quran, Lego, Calligraphy, Mindfulness & Wellbeing, French, Chess, Science Experiment, Technology, iMovie, and Multi-Media Club. When possible, clubs participate in national competitions such as NSTI, Poetic Heart, and World Scholars Cup, and internal leadership programs like Student Council and Red Crescent Ambassadors. External after-school ECAs with partners offer Basketball, Football, Karate, and Gymnastics. The program also includes regular competitions and events such as Spelling Bee, Math competitions, Arabic Poetry Recitation, Quran memorization, and Science fairs, plus Arts & Crafts, Cooking, and themed weeks and challenges.
