ASCS Nad Al Sheba offers a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) course for students from Kindergarten to Grade 8, mapped to CASEL and ISTE Standards, with units that cover Respect, Caring, Inclusiveness, Integrity, and Courage; counseling services are provided through the Guidance Program with a Guidance Counselor and Social Workers to support academic, social, and personal development.
An Inclusion Department delivers an Inclusion Program available to students in all grades who require additional support, with an Effective Learning Provision (ELP) Team providing planned accommodations, modifications, and teacher training and guidance; English Language Learners (ELL) receive support within the mainstream using differentiated instruction and sheltered instruction, and learning support assistants provide targeted intervention; the school is not a specialist SEN institution but operates an inclusive education model.
