Admissions

Admissions

1. Book an Appointment. To begin the City American School application, parents can email info@cityamericanschool.ae or call +971 6 7052000 to book an appointment for the entrance exam. The admissions team explains admission requirements, guides families through online admission options, and answers questions about joining. 2. Entrance Exam. Students applying for Grade 1 and above sit for an entrance exam. Admissions assessments establish aptitude and subject knowledge in English, Math and Science, and the exam results are reviewed by the admissions team. The exam is part of the overall evaluation to determine the appropriate starting level within the American curriculum. 3. Admission Decision. Admission decisions are made after careful evaluation of the entrance exam results and previous school records. Grade placement follows MOE Ajman age norms, and the school considers age and prior records in making a decision. Government regulations require a transfer certificate from the current or previous school to facilitate correct placement. 4. Submission of Documents and School Admission Form. All required documents and the school admission form must be submitted to the admissions department. Staff provide a clear checklist and assist families to ensure the file is complete and compliant with UAE regulations. The completed file supports a smooth enrollment process. 5. Fee Payment and Seat Confirmation. After the required fees are paid, the seat is reserved and a Student School ID card is issued. Enrollment is then complete and the student is officially enrolled at City American School Ajman. This step confirms placement and initiates the student's CAS journey.
