Dubai Carmel School has a prescribed uniform. The dress code restricts hairstyles, makeup, nail polish, and dangling jewelry, and only white headscarves are allowed. On PE days, students wear the PE/sports uniform. Recurrent non‑compliance can lead to disciplinary actions such as library-based assignments, warnings, or suspension.
The canteen provides healthy food options and is inspected by Dubai Municipality. It does not sell unhealthy items such as fizzy drinks, chips, chocolates, glass bottles, or sausages. The canteen aims to offer nutritious meals and snacks at reasonable prices and to promote healthy eating habits.
Dubai Carmel School is governed by a Board of Governors; the chair is Dr Maya Alhawary, who serves as Director of Planning and Chair of the Board. The school was founded in 1990 by Dr Tarek Abu Younis and Mrs Alia Mahmood Al Yahya.
