Dubai Carmel School was founded in 1990 by Dr. Tarek Abu Younis and visionary principal Mrs. Alia Mahmood Al Yahya. It began as a small school in two villas located at Jumeirah near Safa Park. In 2001 the school relocated to its current campus to accommodate growth, and the school now serves about 900 students from diverse nationalities. The school is affiliated with the CIA and follows the British Curriculum, with a focus on educating the heart and mind for holistic development.
Dubai Carmel School hosts a diverse student body with students from more than 60 nationalities and an international curriculum that fosters global citizenship. The community engages in events such as AI Day, Sports Day 2025, the Annual Book Fair, and UAE National Day celebrations.
