Per-term amounts (method and approximate values)
- The academic year is organised in three terms. Using the school calendar term structure, an approximate per-term amount can be calculated by dividing the annual tuition by three. This is an inference based on the school calendar (three terms); parents should note the school requires first-term payment in full prior to the first day of school.
- Example approximate per-term amounts (annual tuition ÷ 3):
- Pre-K: approx. AED 21,706 per term (AED 65,117 ÷ 3).
- KG1: approx. AED 24,303 per term (AED 72,909 ÷ 3).
- KG2 / Grade 1 / Grade 2 / Grade 3: approx. AED 28,199 per term (AED 84,597 ÷ 3).
- Grade 4 / Grade 5: approx. AED 29,312 per term (AED 87,936 ÷ 3).
- Grade 6 / 7 / 8: approx. AED 32,837 per term (AED 98,511 ÷ 3).
- Grade 9 / 10: approx. AED 34,321 per term (AED 102,963 ÷ 3).
- Grade 11 / 12: approx. AED 36,918 per term (AED 110,755 ÷ 3).
Billing schedule and payment terms
- First term fees are due one month prior to the first day of school. The registration fee (AED 6,000) is adjustable against the first term's tuition.
- Payment methods accepted include cash, credit card, wire transfer (bank transfer) or cheque; the application fee may be remitted by bank transfer or in person by debit/credit card, cheque, or cash.
- The school may require a re-registration deposit (up to 5% of annual tuition) to confirm returning students; re-registration will not be accepted if outstanding fees remain unpaid.
- A KHDA administration fee of AED 120 is charged when transferring a student from another Dubai school; this is collected on behalf of KHDA at the time of paying the tuition fee deposit.
Sibling and referral discounts
- Sibling discounts (applied to tuition each academic year): 7% for the 2nd and 3rd child each; 10% for the 4th child; 15% for the 5th child.
- Refer-a-friend discount: a 5% discount per successful referred family applied to the annual fees of the youngest enrolled child; the referral discount is adjusted against the referrer's second-term fees (terms and conditions apply).
Other costs and services
- Tuition fees do not include uniform, food services, transport, or extra-curricular activities outside school hours. Parents should budget separately for these items.
- Uniform supplier: ZAKS is the school's official uniform supplier and uniforms are ordered through ZAKS; uniform costs vary by item and size.
- Transport, meals, extracurricular programme fees, exam fees or trip costs (where charged) are additional and are not included in the annual tuition; amounts for these services are set separately and vary by service.
Boarding
- Dwight School Dubai operates as a day school; boarding is not provided.
Refund information and fee recovery
- Deposits (including registration and re-registration deposits) are not refundable if the student decides not to return or accepts a place at another Dubai school, except under special circumstances; if relocating outside Dubai, the deposit may be refunded subject to evidence of the move and finance office approval.
- Refund and recovery calculation (Ministry of Education bylaws as applied by the school):
- If the student attends two weeks or less: one month's school fees will be charged.
- If the student attends more than two weeks and less than one month: two months' school fees will be charged.
- If the student attends more than one month: three months' school fees will be charged.
- If a term is greater than three months the above cycle restarts at the end of every three months.
- The monthly fee value used for these calculations is the annual tuition divided by 10.
Consequences of non-payment
- Failure to pay tuition fees may result in withholding of school reports, references and/or exam results, and may lead to temporary or permanent exclusion from the school.
Notes on calculations and presentation
- Annual tuition figures above are stated in UAE Dirhams (AED) for the 2025/2026 academic year. The per-term figures shown are approximate values calculated by dividing the published annual tuition by three (three school terms) and are presented as estimates for budgeting purposes; the school requires first-term payment in full and final payment schedules and instalment options should be confirmed directly with the school's admissions or finance office.
