Fairgreen International School

The school offers the International Baccalaureate Continuum: Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP) and Career-Related Programme (CP). It is benchmarked against English National Curriculum standards. From Early Years through High School, learning is an adventure driven by curiosity and hands‑on experiences, developing international-mindedness and social responsibility. The IB framework is integrated with sustainability and real‑world learning across grades.

Fine Arts teaches visual expression across media such as sketching, painting, printmaking, design and crafts, starting in Elementary and continuing through High School, with an emphasis on personal narratives and diverse perspectives. Performing Arts enables Dance, Drama and Music with after‑school programs, and includes opportunities to form bands or choirs, plus live performances and partnerships with external specialists. The school's arts program also features a regular music live lounge and collaboration with the Centre of Musical Arts to deepen tuition and performance opportunities.

The Mother Tongue and Foreign Language Programme offers courses in Arabic, Danish, Dutch, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian and Turkish, delivered face‑to‑face on campus after school hours. Language providers include Headway Institute for several languages and the Pomegranate Institute for others, with enrollment and tuition details published for families. Model United Nations provides exposure to international relations and diplomacy, developing debate, research and policy writing skills. Week Without Walls exposes students to other cultures and community engagement beyond the classroom.

The After School Activities program offers a wide range of activities, including sports, fine arts, performing arts, Model United Nations, Junior Duke, and external partners for activities like basketball, tennis and dance. Diplomathon provides a platform for debate and global issues, while Junk Kouture focuses on sustainability through fashion design. Junior Duke Programme and MUN participation provide structured opportunities to explore interests, build confidence and exercise teamwork.

The Fairgreen Sustainability Committee leads the community in environmental stewardship, integrating sustainability into curriculum and school life and coordinating events, workshops and outreach. Week Without Walls includes community service components, international travel and culture experiences that foster teamwork and service to others. The school shares student achievements and community stories through social channels and events to engage families and the wider community.

College and Career Guidance supports seniors through the college application process, hosts College Nights, and coordinates transcripts, letters of recommendation and standardized testing. The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and the Junior Duke Programme develop leadership, independence, goal‑setting and community contribution. The school maintains active university partnerships and hosts college fairs and career events to prepare students for post‑secondary experiences.

The Wellbeing Programme includes Mindfulness training, based on the MiSP framework, and Social and Emotional Learning through the Jigsaw program, along with the DREAMS wellbeing curriculum for older students. Mindfulness and SEL aim to reduce stress, improve focus and support emotional wellbeing, while assemblies and a campus culture reinforce character and connectedness. Week Without Walls also emphasizes wellbeing through adventure, teamwork, cultural exposure and service experiences.
