Fairgreen International School in Dubai opened in September 2018 as the city's first sustainability-focused IB World School, starting with Pre-KG to Grade 9. It was founded and is operated by Esol Education, a network with a 40-year track record of establishing international schools. The campus is purpose-built in The Sustainable City and features solar-powered energy, water recycling for agricultural use, and waste separation. The school was authorised to offer the full IB continuum (PYP, MYP, CP and DP) in June 2021.
