World languages offered are French or Spanish from Grade 6 onward; students choose one language and continue with that language through secondary education in preparation for the IB Diploma Programme in Grades 11-12. Students new to GAA will be placed in the class of the world language they have studied in their previous school. Secondary aims of the World Languages program include French, Spanish, and Non-Native Arabic, and are to develop global awareness, international understanding, and appreciation of cultural diversity.
