The Language Institute provides the largest mother tongue language programme among UAE schools. Arabic is taught as a compulsory language for Grades 1-9 per UAE MOE by-laws, with differentiated instruction for native and non-native speakers, and KG2 begins Arabic instruction a year earlier. Native Arabic speakers from certain Arab countries may study Arabic A through Grade 12, while non-native speakers may take Arabic B with KHDA approval. Intercultural understanding is emphasized, and multilingual opportunities support critical thinking in a diverse student body of more than 100 nationalities.
