Established in 2006 in Muhaisnah 1, Dubai, Greenwood International School provides an American curriculum aligning with Common Core State Standards and Michigan state standards from Kindergarten 1 through Grade 12. The school campus is divided into two distinct buildings, Nakhleh and Sidr, housing two designated STEM rooms, information and communication technology labs, libraries, and dual gymnasiums. The high school tier utilizes the Canvas Learning Management System platform and offers thirty-eight elective paths including specialized courses such as Python coding, forensics, journalism, and astronomy. Students can also choose Advanced Placement pathways to sit for examinations in Calculus, Biology, and Chemistry. A central tradition is the active Student Parliament framework, a signature initiative empowering pupils to voice ideas, coordinate wellness workshops, and lead community service projects.
